Remarkably, the usually excellent Getty editions of the "Bullettino Archeologico Napoletano" frequently lack the photographic plates at the backs of the individual volumes -- very strange!
After receiving copies of the journals (presumably as wartime plunder and reparations from Italy or Germany), and doubtlessly noticeing the lack, why didn't the Getty ever obtain fuller editions, or fill the defects in some way? Or why hasn't archive.org noted the fact?
I obtained the photographic plates in the, unfortunately, watermarked editions, downloadable from "Heidelberg historic literature – digitized", for example, volume 3:
https://digi.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/diglit/ban1854_1855
in both low resolution and also high resolution versions.
