The Perfect Reservoir Range.

FOR COAL OR WOOD.

'\:I' HIS RANGE is a general favorite and too well known to requil-e much explanation. We might, however
lIT say, that it is a very successful and quick baking Range in all respects and gives excellent satisfaction
... everywhere. It is also very artistic, elegant and altracti\"e. When once introduced it creates its own
demand. We have hundreds of unsolicited testimonials, and would urge upon dealers to 5ecure the
agency.
The Perfect Range has the following important featurö:
CENTRE FIRE Box, with Rock Ash Grate for coal, (wood tittings can also be supplied).
LARGE BACK OVEN, 22
i x 20, which is easily heated owing to its not being connected with reservoir.
COPPER RESERVOIR, holding 36 l1uarts, which is constantly hot.
LARGE HOT CLOSET, 21 x 12.
LARGE UPPER SHELF, which adds materially to its appearance.
SIX BOILER HOLES; EXTENSION SHElf; TOWEL RACK; RESERVOIR, Erc.
WATER FRONT can be used when wanted. and when Reservoir is not desired. we furnish plate making Range with
eight holes.

The Columbia Diamond Range.

FOR COAL OR WOOD.

OLUMBIA DIAMOND is an entirely new production of øriginal design, with all the modem features of
utility. rhe decoration of the doors and reservoir ends is bold, with deeply carved ornamentation, and
the base is high and broad, being a pronounced departure from the ordinary type.
The Nickel and Tile trimmings are handsome and novel.
As a whole the appearance of the Columbia Diamond is at once massive and beautiful.
The ovens are large and so constructed that all space is available for baking. They are heated
I on five sides, and the Hues are of the modern and popular system of shed tlues.
The tìre box is properly proportioned to secure the best and most economical consumption of fuel. either coal or wood,
and is fitted with either Duplex, Rockash or plain grates as desired. The grate bars can be replaced without disturbing the
water front or linings.
Either brick or iron linings can be supplied, but we will always ship with iron linings unless otherwise instmcted.
The tea shelf, high shelf and high closet are interchangeable, and fit all sizes, the former being supplied with every
range and included in price.
The high shelf is large and does not interefere with cooking utensils on top of range. It is of the popular folding
type. handsomely carved and of real utility.

The Magic Diamond Range.

FOR COAL OR WOOD.

---

, 4 1 .... N THE MAGIC DIAMOND RANGE we aTe putting on the market an entirely new, high-class Range, with
all the modern features. A construction that will work satisfactorily, with even indifferent chimne\s.
' The popular design anj Nickel Trimmings of our ,\'\arvel has been incorporated in this nl'W Range,
..A ,P'\ otherwise it is entirely ditìerent.
.
The Fire Box is proportioned to secure the most satisfactory combustion of fuel, either coal or
-, wood.
The Grates furnished are the Duplex, Rockash or plain as desired.
The Ash Pan is large and is arran
ed to hold and remove ashes without creating dust.
The O
ens are I.trge and litted with steel bottoms, insuring rapid and equal heat in all pal ts of oven.
These ranges have Sheet Flues with one tlue strip extending diagonally in bottom tlue, equally distributing all the
heat over bottom of oven. This is the tlue construction embodied in nearly all modern good working and selling Ranges.
The damper openings are lar.t:l', insuring free draft.
Large Copper Reservoir, with beautifully japanned lids and frame. The tlues and damper opening under reservoir
being large. water can I'e boiled in the reservoir.
The whole Hearth draws off and drops down under the Ash Pit if so desired. In drawing out the entire distance it
does not disturb anything re
ting upon it. It is a large serviceable Hearth, and adds to the appearance of the Range.

FOR. COAL OR. WOOD.

HE FIRE BOX for coal is oval, this being the best shape
for strength and Combustion. It is also the heaviest and
best ventilated fire box, and we GUARANTEE it to be the
most DURABLE made. This stove is supplied with either
the Duplex Grate or our new patent Flat, Shaking and
Dumping Grate. When the fire box for coal is re-
moved, and the Fire Back, False Fire Bottom, and Front Fender put in
place for burning wood, they are superior to cooking stoves for burning wood ex-
clusively' as they have fully as large a fire box as other cooking stoves of corres-
ponding sizes, with the advantages of a large, clean ash pan, low hearth, broiling
door and central delivery of draft to the wood, making a quick, hot fire, with a
small amount of fuel. The ash box and pan construction are excellent. The pan
is large, made of sheet iron, has cast frame, and wrought bail with stop catches.
The pan catches every particle of ashes, and is easily removed and replaced. Top
made in four pieces. Seven inch pipe collar. Cemented top oven plate. Adjustable
oven racks. Tin lined oven doors. Foot oven door opener. Shelf under oven door.
Large coal and wood feed doors. The reservoir is made of copper, is large and has
handsome japanned lids and frames. The t1ues under reservoir are large, and water
can be boiled in the reservoir. Nickel panels on oven doors, consisting of name
plate, register and handle. Nickel towel rack and lid holder. The ornamentation is
very beautiful, and WE GUARANTEE THE CASTINGS, FITTING, NICKEL WORK,
AND ALL THE WORKMANSHIP TO BE THE BEST EVER MADE IN COOKING STOVES.

Cone Heater

FOR. ANY KIND OF COAL.

The Cone Di

has been before the public for Se\ eral
easons and
no !:'tove ever ga,-e
l1ch unh er...al
atisfacti()n as
regards efficiency and economy. The reputation which
it attained induced a number of manufacturers to bring
out imitation_. but, unfortunately for themseh e
, each
faithfully copied its defectÏ\e features and otnilted the
desirable ones. That the sto\"e \\ as in some respects
defectÏ\ e we admit, una\ oidably rough ca'lings and im-
proper a..h pan arrangement being the most serious.
Our experience \\hh the Cone Disc Stove ha, en-
abled us to remedy all its weak points and incorporate
a number of new feature.. in Ihe Cone Heater, and we
now offer it 10 the public as a stO\ e unapproachable in
its class. It ha" a handsome ba
e, smooth casting... large
a,h pan, automatically clean shaking and dumping ar-
rangement, return flue, foot rail, slicer door and a flue
to permil the heated air confined by the base to escape,
at the ,ame time drawing off the cold air from the floor.

Improved Agricultural Furnace.

This new .. FARMERS BOILER" is constructed on the return flue principle, which ensures good draft and utility in all
the fuel consumed. It is greatly superior to all direct draft boilers now on the market.
This boiler is made entirely in sections, with ample allowance for expansion, thereby rendering it strong and durable.
It has a deep ash pit and an extra large fire door. and is undoubtedly tbe best Farmer's Boiler in the market.

- E WILL NOT attempt to go into details in this PRICE LIST, as we have a General FUlnace Cata-
logue "OUR FURNACE BOOK," which we mail upon application.

We might, however, mention that it is generally admitted that "We lead in the furnace
t . business," and that the "PRESTON FURNACES" stand without a rival in point of Superior Con-
, struction and Working l..2ualities. Our aim having always been great heating qualities with mod-
erate consumption of fuel, and to say that we have succeeded in embodying these desirable features in the PRESTON FURNACES
with phenomenal success would be putting it mildly, as the thousands of well pleased u
ers in all parts of the Dominion
will gladly substantiate.

Dealers who Handle the" Preston Furnaces" Control the Business in their Localities.

Preston Furnaces.

This cut presents a general view of our line
of Pleasant Home and Marvel Furnaces as they
appear when set up and encased in galvanized iron.
The ash pan door being open the position of ash
pan and sifter grate are shown. Cuts on follow-
ing pages give a general view of construction.
Owing to our system of Patent Fused Joints
being embodied in all our furnaces constructed of
cast iron and steel we guarantee them to be ah-
solutely gas and dust proof. Bolted, riveted and
cemented joints are all ri
ht for a time, but owing
to the unequal expansion and contraction they
gradually give away and in a comparatively short
time there is nothing to prevent the escape of gas
and dust. All our Steel Body Furnaces are fitted
with Ora\\- Centre, Anti-Clinker Dumping and
Shaking Grate, they can be completely dumped and
are so set that surface can readily be raked. This

made.
The-e boilers are no experiment, ha\ ing been thoroughly tried and tested.
They have given excellent results in Manitoba as well as in the milder climate
of Ontario.
The" PLUTO" Boiler has the following importen ad\ antage :-
It is sectional in \LL its p:;rts.
The sÏ7e can easily be increa-ed or diminished.
It has less join\> than any other Boiler of i\> class.
It will burn all kinds of fuel-- Hard or soft coal, wood or coke.
It has large Ash Pit Door, which admits Ash P.rn full size of Grate and
Sifler.
The Grate is easil)" -haken and arranged to burn all kinds and si/es of coal,.
The Grate surface can ea-ily he raI-ed.
The Fire Pot i, of the best construction, and presents the large<t possible
amount of heating surface; it has no tire-brick or other non.conductor to
diminish its effeeti vene
s.
The Feed Door is of ample siæ to admit large rough wood, and "THE
PLI:TO" gives splendid results" here" ood i, used for fuel.
The Feed Door is fitted \\ ilh a gas-consuming de\ ice.
All parts to be cleaned .He easily acces-ahle, and sO arranged that the SOOt
and ashe_ fall into Ash Pit. .. he ad\ antages of Ihis are plain-a clean cellar,
no dust Or ashes.
All Faces of Sections are planed and make a perfect joint.
A glance at cuts show_ it, perfect water and fire circulation.
