WSAVORY FEMALE GINKGO
e ginkgo, Ginkgo biloba. is a prehistoric
that coexisted with dinosaurs. The ripe
seeds of female trees, like this one, are edible
but are covered with a fleshy, foul-smdling
seed coat. Male trees are preferred because
they do not have the offensive seeds.
We must always remember that at
the same time that today ends,
tomorrow begins. There is never
an end - just a new beginning.

Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet
Well, for todays aches and pains
An anal Chem test tomorrow!, your kidding right?
Full figured and proud of it
Who is that behind those foster grants
The three musketters
It's amazing what they can do with flowers

The bond that links your "true family" is not
one of blood, but of respect & joy in each
other's life. Rarely do members of one "fam-
ily" grow up under the same roof "Ma, Pa &
the kids" you will never be forgotten. Many
thanks to my real family without you I never
would have made it. To all my friends and

Editor's Message
This year is finally over and the 1984 Cornucopia has made its debut as a scrapbook. I
hope all of you are as happy as I am about its turnout. I only hope it will stand as a
rememberence of the many happy times you've had at Del Val, as you turn the pages of
this volume of the Cornucopia.
To my staff Thank you for all of your help, and being a part of this years book. To my
editors thank you for all of your hard work, and dedication even when times were bad. To
the extra special people whom with out their unending concern, dedication and help this
book would not have been possible, THANK YOU!! Each and every one of you are special;
Gale Backhus, Tracy Edwards, Dawn Havens, Debbie Hoffman, Dennis McLaughlin, Kathy
McNamara, Noreen Powers, Mary Sandrock, Jackie Stoffa, Carl Vivaldi, Ralph Wahl and
last but not least Missy Young. I wish next years staff the very best of luck, and any help I
can give.
Tony, Sherrie and your staff thank you for all of your fantastic photography, support,
guidance and advice you have given for the yearbook and to myself. Without your added
touches this book wouldn't have been what it is today.
Mrs. Sangston and Mrs. Powell thank you for all of your help, support, and interest in
this book. A special thank you to Mr. O'Brien for adding advice when things seemed bad,
and for listening to my pr9blems and helping me complete everything before my deadlines.
This book truly wouldn't be possible without you.
Mr. Sauer, Thank you just doesn't seem enough to say for all of your concern, dedication
and help. So many times I've felt like throwing in the towel, but you have picked up the
pieces and made everything seem much brighter. If 1 didn't have your help I would have
given up a long time ago and this book wouldn't have been in existence.
To all of my friends thank you for all of your support and spirit and encouraging me to
continue with this book throughout the year.
Mom and Dad, Maryann and Linda, thank you for being there with much needed
support, guidence and understanding when I needed it and when it seemed like I didn't
need it. I love you all.
As you look at this the last and final page 1 hope you are satisfied and enjoyed the book.
Finally I would like to say that this is perhaps the most rewarding yet challenging tasks I
have ever taken on and completed. The experience 1 have earned is unending and in some
ways I wish being a part of it wouldn't end. But the time has come to move on to other
more challenging endeveors and I will have to look up and out and only be proud that I
was a part of putting together every student's memories for the year at Delaware Valley
College. In time people will forget about the people who had a part in putting this yearbook^
together which is expected, but they will never forget all of the love, growth, experience,
and especially the memories they have obtained from Delaware Valley College which also is
expected.
Sincerely,
^^ Diane Elwood
