INTRODUCTION.

Tuis Calendar is offered to students of Botany and
Ornithology, as a most convenient means of recording
their observations of nature, thereby familiarizing the
names, both English and scientific, of Birds, Flowers,
Trees and Shrubs; learning their habits, appearance,
growth and development.

The following page will show the intention of the
Calendar, and if the record is carefully made each year
for four years, as the spaces permit, a comparison from

year to year must prove both interesting and instructive.
