DIRECTORY OF LABOR ORGANIZATIONS

IN MONTANA

The Directory of Labor Organizations in Montana is compiled every
two years by the Unemployment Compensation Commission, Helena,
Montana.

The demand for this directory has increased over the years. Dis-
tribution is made as a public service to principal officers of state,
district and local labor unions, employer organizations, libraries, re-
search centers, public officials, and on request to any interested
individuals as long as the supply lasts.

Every human effort is made to provide a complete and accurate
listing. Because of the nature of the project and the human factors
involved, some changes may have occurred even before the directory
is in print.

The cooperation and help of union officials and their members in
providing the information for this directory is gratefully acknowledged.

This is an appropriate time for the twenty-two local of-
fices of the Montana State Employment Service to express
their appreciation for the cooperation with your organization
during the past year which has resulted in the job placement
of your members. We look forward to strengthening this
cooperation for we have a common field of interest in the
job placement program.

The Montana State Employment Service wants to work
with your union. We do not want to duplicate your work.
We merely want to make your Business Representative's job
easier by taking the responsibility of placing workers off his
shoulders. This will give him more free time for the per-
formance of the rest of his duties. With your full cooperation
your Local Employment Office can help you, your union
and your members.
