Subject: The experiences of Uncle Jack: being a biography of Rev. Andrew Jackson Newgent
This was a fascinating read. Perhaps in part because of the setting around the Civil War. Perhaps in part because of the place of faith in such a setting. Perhaps in part because of the great hope in the midst of great difficulty. Perhaps in part because of the hope one might find in the great possibilities of ones life in the midst of hard times.
And perhaps in part in that he was my great, great grandfather.
Thanks for the preservation of such works!
