To my dear father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Benajah Jordan Fletcher

AND

Catherine Sneed (Crowder) Fletcher,

both of whom were devoted to their kindred, and kept
themselves posted in the genealogy of their families, as
long as they lived, this volume is most respectfully and
affectionately dedicated. We loved them, while they lived
— now they are in the ''Happy Beyond," where we hope
to meet them "In the sweet bye-and-bye."

The memory of them is sweet to me.

Grant James Anderson.
