One of the most active E.J.C. organizations in several years developed
this year under the title, "E.J.C. Players, " under the direction of Darryl Patten.
Upon completing required participation in the theatrical field, the players be-
come members of Pi Delta Theta, a local drama fraternity, and all members are
free to meet qualifications of Delta Psi Omega, a national fraternity. An active
year included a trip to the K.U. production of Paint Your Wagon, participation of
members in the local Little Theater Production of Ten Little Indians, and winning
first prize in the Juco Appreciation Day Parade of floats.

in individual events such as dramatic and poetry reading.

The club has participated in debates at Kansas State Teachers College,
Manhattan; University of Wichita; Southwestern College at Winfield; Pittsburg,
McPherson, Bethel, and the Kansas Junior College Festival at El Dorado.
