FOREWORD

TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CLASS

THE following report, our sixth, has been necessarily cur-
tailed in quantity to fit the limited means of the Class at the
present time. An effort has been made and an opportunity given
under "Comments" to maintain the quality.

It is regretted, however, that we must wait until the publication
of the customary full report in connection with our twenty-fifth
reunion before properly setting out the obituaries of our classmates
who have died since the last report.

We trust this new report will be a convenience for all.

Malcolm J. Logan,

Secretary.

THE HARVARD FUND

AS you may remember, the Harvard Fund was created in 1926
±\^ in order that graduates and friends of the University might
have an opportunity each year to contribute such amounts as each
individual saw fit to the Treasurer of the University without
restriction as to its use. Each contribution is credited to the
Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Fund of the donor, and draws interest,
compounded annually, from the date of receipt. While the
amount of money contributed is important, the number of con-
tribuors has always been of greater importance, for the main
objective of the Fund is to enable every graduate to contribute
every year to the free funds of the University if he so desires.
Our record has been as follows:
