**ABOUT**

Ketika sebuah gitar kopong dan coretan lirik menciptakan sebuah manifesto kamar kecil yang
berteriak "Mari Mulai Revolusi Dari Kamar Ini!", mungkin hal ini terlihat sepele dan kecil.
Tetapi bagi Aziz Suraj dan sejuta musisi lainnya hal ini merupakan anugrah yang tidak
tertandingi keberadaannya. Bermula dari sebuah scene kecil tepatnya di sebuah venue sesak
bernama De Javu, Aziz sudah mulai aktif dan bermain dengan band-band seperti Bitter
Ballen, Tinkerbell, My Name Is, Face Off, dan lain sebagainya. Walaupun sempat membantu
band-band seperti Motoric Mathematics dan Tinkerbell, nampaknya sebuah alter ego
dirinyapun belum terasa mengalir secara bebas, oleh karea itu ia lebih memilih untuk bersolo

Sebuah debut EP-pxrn dirilis, yang dapat dikatakan cukup tepat untuk mengeksekusi musik
dan jati diri Aziz sendiri. Dimulai dengan sebuah track upbeat bernama "Friend Or Foe"
yang tertoreh mengenai sebuah coretan klise nan menyentuh dari kehidupan: Persahabatan
dan Musuh. Lalu masuk ke track kedua "Underdog Stay gold", sebuah track balada tentang
kehidupan scene underground dan tidak ketinggalan bumbu "Fuck You! We Are Young' -nya.
Secara musikalitas, track ini sangat stand up dan terdengar seperti persilangan antara Bruce
Springsteen dengan vokal samar Tim Armstrong. Disusul dengan track "This Hits Shit" yang
merupakan semacam sebuah surat untuk para band arus utama, yang cukup mencengangkan
adalah sebuah track sambutan berjudul "The Ballads" yang terdengar sangat pop punk ala
Rufio :D. Entah lah, ini mungkin hanya sebuah pernyataan satir tentang masa lalu atau
apapun itu dengan mengutip liriknya "Oh no, and your die.. Oh no, you was die!". Aziz
menumpahkan sebuah coretan kebencian di anthem terakhir berjudul "Do You Know", "Fuck
You Rocks tar", itu yang dapat saya kutip dari penggalan lirik ini intinya. Friends And The
Underground merupakan sebuah debut EP yang dieksekusi oleh Aziz dengan baik dan juga
pantas untuk terselip di koleksi//fe space hardisk anda. Selamat Menikmati! - Rizkan Al-

**PROFILE**

AzizS (Guitar/Vocal/Keyboard)

Life, music, friendship and underground were in his life admit
crowded of the heat of Jakarta. Started since 2007, based on
punkrock at west Jakarta, he often to play in small gigs together
with Tinkerbell (INA), Bitter Ballen, My Name Is, Miss
Universe, Face off, Last Hope (INA), Ass gas, Last Child,
Doomsday, Deathlamb, NHB, Quick n Easy, CTR, Migratory,
Test 123, and many more. While his kicking around, he wrote
much about life and surroundings based on a daily living in the
underground about a couple of years ago. He also members of
some bands (Tinkerbell, Motoric Mathematics, etc.) but not
always ends well for himself. Eventually, he choose to pursue a solo career basicly from life
experiences of the underground as a streetpunk. Idealistic D.I.Y thinking critically about

everything he saw and went through written in a few punk creation.
