TECHNICAL

COLLEGE

Department of Student Services

THE FORGOTTEN ONES

The Indiana Vocational Technical College is the most exciting
educational opportunity ever afforded to the forgotten ones in
the history of this great state. By the forgotten ones, I
mean the bulk of the fine young men and women who graduate
from our public high schools without demanding an excessive
amount of attention from their teachers or guidance counselors.
They are not necessarily your class presidents or valedictori-
ans. On the other hand, they are most certainly not your slow-
est learners or your troublemakers. You might say, they are the
quiet ones who seldom cause you any loss of sleep or undue con-
cern. They do a good job without much direction. By and large,
they do not frequent your offices either by request or by choice,
in the long run, they are the solid citizens that will become
the backbone of our nation. These were the forgotten ones.
These are the very reason for this institution's existence.
THESE ARE THE STUDENTS OF I V TECHl
