PR&IRIEVTLLE CEMETERY

This burial ground in the
northwest corner of the
county one-half mile from
the Howard and Tipton
county line was a burial
place as early as 1844. The
children of Jackson Watts
and Thomas Scott, also a small
son of Clinton Gray who was
killed by a well pole falling
on him were the first bodies
interred in this sacred and
beautiful burial ground.
