Alma Mater
Hail to thee, our Alma Mater!
Bold thy banner waving o'er us!
Let each loyal son and daughter
Proudly stand and raise the chorus:
From Old Scotia's lofty lands
To Carolina's gentle plain
Now thy noble name St. Andrews,
Ever glorious shall remain!
Hail, all hail to thee, St. Andrews!
May thy courage be unbending
Guided by His mighty hand, whose
Loving mercy knoivs no ending.
With thy Salt ire raised before us
Cross of white and field of blue
We proclaim thy faith victorious
And thy vision ever true!

The tradition lives on. This year, once again, Toga

however, was a bit different. More people attended
Luau than Toga. Despite the drop in attendance both
parties were a huge success.

Granville's Halloween
Bash
Once again the biggest event of fall term was
Granville's Halloween Celebration. The cold night
didn't keep many inside. The courtyard held many
scary sights which were kept warm by the bonfire
provided. Costumes ranged from storybook characters
to Rugby players. Even Jason from the Friday the
13th series made an appearance. Everyone present
seemed to have a wonderful time.
Tina certainly had the right look for the Harley-Davidson chick she was supposed to be imitating.

A Winning Season For
The Ladies!!
The Lady Knights started off the season with seven
straight wins. After losing the next three games, the
ladies rebounded by winning the three succeeding
games. The women's soccer team ended the season
with a 13-4-1 record.
The skill on the team was recognized with four
players making All-District. The four were Hayley
Ladell, Joy Feinberg, Cathy Feeley, and Kati Vines.
Luckily, the Lady Knights will only be losing two
seniors so their success as a team should continue.

VanWingerden with 5 tries. Others who scored were
Kevin Finch, Lane Moore, Scott Gregory, Adam

Men's Basketball
The 90-91 men's basketball team finished the season
with a 16-15 record. Seniors Mark English, Lawson
Smith, Erik Shelton, and John Davis made sizable
contributions to the team with Averaging
double-digit scoring in every game. Strong
performances throughout the season were seen by
freshman Brian Burton, sophomore Donald
Galbreath, sophomore John Church, and freshman
Tony Scott.
May I cut in?
Donald Galbreath gets the height advantage and two points.
John Church goes for three.

Women's Basketball
Though the women's basketball team had a losing
season, head coach Nancy Swain had many good
comments for this year's team and is looking forward
to next year. "I think we have a better team than
last year, despite our record . . . we have better depth
We've been in a lot of ballgames this season, but
inexperience has really hurt us. The players are still
positive, and I think the younger players are gaining
a lot of valuable playing time." She added, "The
women's program is going in the right direction, we
just need quality players."

Diversity is the key word at St. Andrews. This diversity has acted
as a catalyst of change during my four years here and hopefully the
process will continue. While putting together the yearbook, my staff
and I have tried to capture the special essence of St. Andrews.
Thanks to:
Chris Havens and all of my suitemates (Sarah Cooper, Tina Carter,
Susie Henry, Janice Bird, and Jennifer Franko) for the support and
help.
Sharon Frain, the best roommate ever and for writing the sports
copy.
Rooney Coffman and the photography staff: Josh Foote, Raylene

Summer Brock for her guidance and patience.
