DR, RUSSELL CROW
PRESIDLNT OF MC KENDREE COLLEGE

Dr. (;row is a graduate of Northeastern State Collejie, Tahlcc]iiali, Oklahoma,
holds his M.A. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and his Ph.D. also from
that university. He becaine president of McKendree College in I'-iSO.

A man of deep religious convictions. Dr. Cirow is an outstanding Methodist lay-
man, and indeed, an Ambassador of (iood Will for our college. His resignation this
year was received with deep regret by all those who love McKendree and Uncle Russ.

McKendree has assuredly "Groun With Crou'.'

"IT IS DONE'

After many long weeks of assembling and reassembling material, and working
many hours in the Journalism department, we of the McKendrean present our final
product, your 1957 McKendrean.

Without the help of many people this yearbook would nor have been possible.
We wish to thank these people for their help, moral support, and advice: Student Body
and Faculty, Sponsors and Boosters, Dean Grandy, Mr. Olmstead, Mr. Owen, Artcraft
Studio of Belleville, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brown, commercial photographers of
Lebanon.
