Subject: Wonderful resource with a couple of corrections
Subject: Wonderful resource with a couple of corrections
My family lines trace to the first Southgates thru their daughter Eliza who married Walter Bowne. His family line traces back to John Bowne and his first wife Hannah Feake. This is a correct spelling of what is in this Monograph. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Fones Feake Hallett, worth googling. John Bowne had three wives; the second named Hannah Bickerstaff and the third named Mary Cox (or Cocks). If I see any more corrections, I will post them separately. Otherwise, very much appreciate these old documents which help me in my work.
