Being one of many of the descendants of this fine Paxton line. I find strength in the lives my ancestors lived. Many God fearing Christians are found throughout these pages who lived their lives in uprightness and integrity. Many of our ancestors here in the U.S. paid the ultimate sacrifice from the battle fields of the American revolutionary war to the battlefields of the American civil war to insure that their descendants and fellow countrymen would have the right to freedom and liberty, putting in place the foundation for the rights and principals we stand on today.

This is a closely researched, painstaking account of a single family name starting with one ancestor and following them for over 10 generations.
Within the closely documented facts there are sketches and the occasional opinion. It is hard not be moved by the charm of the writer and his genuine wish to leave something of value to future generations that pays tribute to the past generations of his family.
Anyone wishing to discover more about the PAXTON family owes this humble amateur researcher a great debt.
George Eliot's MIDDLEMARCH gives us the notion of ordinary people in unvisited tombs yet who, in living their lives, contribute to the greater good and thereby provide a platform that the next generations amy build on. W M PAXTON of Platte Co. Missouri is just such a person.
Given the high number of downloads it would seem that others agree.
