Office of the Chancellor
Dear Students:
I join the entire university family in saluting our graduates in the accomplishment
of a great achievement. The memories of what you have achieved should always be cher-
ished. This yearbook captures many memorable moments of the past year at WSSU,
moments many of you will carry in your thoughts for the rest of your lives. I know that
you will come to value the contents of this publication as symbols of your experience at
WSSU.
Our graduates have had and are having a tremendous impact in the communities in
which they reside. They are living up to the motto that defines us, “Enter to Learn, Depart
to Serve.” You carry that legacy with you, as well as the hopes and dreams of those who
will come after you. You are well equipped to carry that legacy forward. I am as proud of
your accomplishment as you are. As you transition into the global marketplace, please
know that our hopes for your success go with you.
For you returning Rams, this yearbook captures the excitement of the past year you
experienced and heightens your anticipation of the events to come that could become
defining moments. We hope your experience has been both enlightening and fruitful.
When you return in the fall, we will continue to deliver on our promise to do all we can to
prepare you for the challenges ahead.
You will always have a place of honor within the community of the university fami-
ly. Remember: as you depart your alma mater, take your place in the world to serve.
With very best regards,
LadlA Prote, &.

This year, students were abe to witness firsthand the reconstruction of Greek plots. For many underclassmen, who weren't erroled in 2003-
2004, the plots seemed to be just a new addition but, to Greek-etter organizations and uperclasemen, it was a piece of WSEU restored back to
its natural beauty. Because students were abe to see the construction, it made anticapation of the finished product that rruch geater.
