Yes, the 1954 Sea Gull presentation of the Greatest

Performers, Clowns, Circus Hands — all of the people who
make life under the Gulf Park Big Top the wonderful thing
that it is.

So quickly take your seat. It's almost time for the feature

HATS OFF TO . . .

A long roll of the drums by our circus
band, and the Big Top is plunged into dark-
ness. Then, as one brilliant beam of light is
turned on the center ring, we see the star of
our 1954 Sea Gull. For six years she has
worked behind the scenes at Gulf Park, giv-
ing her valuable time and boundless energy
to all school undertakings — Sing Song, Mar-
di Gras, Commencement activities and social
functions — in addition to the invaluable
training and assistance which she offers her
speech majors. The producers of the 1954
Greatest Little Show on Earth are indeed
honored to present in the spotlight for the
first time . . . Miss Helen Picking.

He and the animals get along.

Elephants are useful friends
Equipped with handles at both ends.
They  have  a  wrinkled  moth-proof  hide;
Their teeth are upside down outside.
If you think the elephant preposterous
You've probably never seen a rhinosterous.

My heart and lungs both bound and balk
When high-wire walkers start to walk.

Some fear they will, some fear they won't.

To do full justice to the clowns.

And who am I to interfere?

Poor kid, he's ousted from society.

CORNER OF 26TH AVE. AND I4TH ST.

PHONES 673—169

IN 1865

Kreeger's opened its doors to the carriage trade of New

Orleans; and a few years later, moved to Canal Street, where

the American New Orleans and the French New Orleans

joined in a common shopping center.

TODAY

Canal at Bourbon is one of the famous crossroads of the world.

Here, under the direction of the Kreeger family for three

generations, has grown a fashion store of distinction with

an international clientele. When you pass Kreeger's corner,

stop in and browse around. It will be a
privilege and a pleasure to serve you.

CONGRATULATIONS

UNITED GAS congratulates you, the Junior College and High School graduates

To you, opportunity is calling — the opportunity to work, think and act in a free
land as you wish.

With these opportunities come responsibilities. Take advantage of these oppor-
