The work done in this institution will do any one good. A
knowledge of accounts is almost indispensable. The points in law
which come up in every day life are very valuable. A good check,
or note or draft or bill of lading is essential. These things and
many others taught in Shelby Business College, are of untold value
to any one. In fact no one can afford not to have this knowledge.
Get it in this 'hook Experience comes too high.

You may say, "well you are going away to
some university for work." Suppose you do and
that you take up any of the courses of study
offered? If you have plenty of means or your
father has, all well and good. Have you any
; positive assurance that you will always be in
this condition? Fortunes go in a night. On
the other hand you may not have the means to
go to the university. In either case the com-
mercial training you would receive at Shelby
Business College would be of untold benefit.

In the first instance you are prepared for emergencies. In the
scconi you will have a means whereby you can easily make your
way through the university.

Your commercial training may thus he used to help you through
the university. While if any time, you should be compelled to give
up university work you would nave a line of work righl at hand,
ready for your using.

Every boy or girl who contemplates going to universities or
other colleges, should have our work, as well as all other young peo-
ple, who mean to do things.
