Southern's Drama/Speech department is renowned as a developer of talented and capable actors and techni-
cians. The bill of production this year consisted of nine student one-act plays and four student full-length shows,
as well as four major productions: Hoy's "The Horse", directed by Arnold Powell in November; John Steinbeck's
pulitzer-winning "Of Mice and Men", directed by John Kitchens during Interim; Buechner's "Woyzeck", directed
by Arnold Powell in March, and a novel Readers' Concert Theatre Tour of Alabama in April. A new avenue of
experience opened this year with the presentation of three meritorious films; Ingmor Bergman's "The Ritual,"
"Waiting for Godot," end Luis Buenel's "Tristana." Upperclassmen of exceptional abilities in dramatics are
included in Alpha Psi Omega. Members ore: Glenda Buttrom (president). Bill Andrews, Don Bell, Terrell Finney,
Earl Grilliot, Sherron Grilliot, Susan Koffler, Mary Meehan, Wren Rolison, Ben Scokel, Beverly Smyly, and Diane

OPPORTUNITY
GROIVTH
EBSCO has evolved from a door-to-door
magazine sales agency to a conglomerate
active in a number of diverse fields.
We are open to new ideas and to
viewpoints that are freshly honed, for we
have often found them constructive and
profitable. We are a youthful company —
several of our high-ranking executives
have yet to see their fortieth birthdays.
After graduation, should you be seeking
diversity, challenge, opportunity and
growth, we would like to talk with you.

Listen!
At your graduation exercises, the commencement
speaker udll say something to the effect that
"the future of this nation is in your hands"
or "you are being given a great challenge".
They always say things like that at graduation
exercises. It seems to be the thing to do.
They've said it so much that most folks expect
it and don't even hear it.
That's bad . . . because it's true.
The future is in your hands . . . whether you hear
it or not . . . and whether you like it or not.
Do something about it . . . Listen.

Some grad schools

than others.
The Air Force's Officer Train-

gram that can turn a college
graduate into an Air Force of-
ficer. And, it can give him the
chance to go on to flight school
and become a pilot or navigator.
Check out a future where the
