CT Russell wrote 6 volumes in this series with an additional 7th volume entitled Tabernacle Shadows of the Better Sacrifices. This is Volume One The Divine Plan of the Ages. CT Russell did not form or create Jehovah's Witnesses neither was he their editor or president. CT Russell died in 1916 and following his death some Bible Students wanted to update CT Russell's teachings bringing different thoughts, ideas and teaching. In 1931 some Bible Students under the leadership of Judge Rutherford (not really an appointed legal judge) adopted the name Jehovah's Witnesses.
