TEUTOPOLIS QUASQUICENTENNIAL 1964

1964 was indeed a big year in the history of the city of Teutopolis,
Illinois. For it was in this year that the people of Teutopolis celebrated
its Quasquicentennial. Yes, 125 years ago, our forefathers laid the foun-
dation for the celebration that took place in this year.
It is our hope that we can recapture some of the activities
that took place starting from the crowning of the Queen on July 28th
to the closing moments on August 2nd.
In order to undertake such a gigantic celebration, hundreds upon
hundreds of persons from Teutopolis and surrounding parishes and towns
were asked to help and so splendidly did. It is to these people that
this book is gratefully dedicated. Thank you.
