This is a typescript transcription of the original handwritten record book.
The transcriptionist included a detailed A to Z table of contents. Topics include the Declaration of Independence, local ministers & meetinghouses, full names of those paid by the town, debtors, earmarks (filed under 's' for sheep), land and all topics one would expect to find in town meetings of the era, along with births, deaths, and marriages.
An incredibly useful tool for anyone researching anything in early Biddeford! (As with all things transcribed - this is a copy - always refer to the original for absolute accuracy)
