LibriVox recording of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, by Jules Verne.
Captain Nemo, The Nautilus, and the mysterious depths of the ocean. Unforgettable. Come join an adventure that will roam among coral and pearls, sharks and giant squid, with wonders of biology and engineering that will thrust us from the Antarctic to Atlantis. Whether voyaging a yarn of the glorious unknown, a tale of the darkness that grips the heart of men, or a reinterpretation of Homer's Odyssey, we'll all enjoy the fantastic trip. Seasickness optional.
(Summary by Marlodianne)

Subject: Boring!!!!!!!
Subject: Boring!!!!!!!
Jules could have easily cut the length of this book in half and it would be a better read. It seems as if his purpose behind this effort was more self glory than entertainment. He spends pages on specifying animal and plant taxonomics, from domain to species, ad infinitum, proving his vast knowledge. But that makes it extremely boring, IMHO.

the woman reader is just horrible....sorry reader....she uses this voice that is not of her own and u can tell. I have heard her on other reads with same monotone voice. it had effected many books I have started and once hearing her voice I cant stand t o continue. one chapter of her read I can put up with but after that I dismiss the read and look for another book with out her reading it. u should post the readers of the books if multipule so your audience will know ahead of time. also if there is another book done with different readers we should be directed to it.
