Notes:
DSO played a complilation set. This
was a 2 set show and second set came
in almost 2 hours. The second to
last night of the tour. Show very
crowded and might of sold out.
Lisa Mackey joined them for most
of both sets.

Recorded Right side of DFC in SBD
area. Mic on stand at 9 feet with
windscreens on. DSO rented Line array
from a local company and there were
2 large ~15 - 20 foot stacks on each
side of the stage. The house monitors
were not used.

The sound of the recording is very good to
excellent. Very low crowd noise.

Performance: A+

Subject: DSO - original setlist magic

this is an excellent performance by DSO, and an excellent original setlist. band and crowd were crackling with energy from the first note. carried well into the 2nd set, where a late second wind took it to the Playin reprise.

xlnt recording, sound was tight, nice to see that aspect captured.

my first time seeing DSO do an original setlist, makes for a different musical experience more along the lines of what Furthur is doing.

Jeff Matson brings a heartfelt passion for the music to the mix.

good, solid crowd out for this show as well, even the talkers ended up getting caught up in the music.

Isn't Cumberland the 1st set closer though??? That's how it's listed on their site anyway.

Yes it is. It did not fit on one disc and I had to move cumberland to disc 2, sorry forgot to change the notes.

Thanks for capturing these two nights! This one in particular. So glad they are doing 'Chimes of Freedom.' Isn't Cumberland the 1st set closer though??? That's how it's listed on their site anyway.
