French Courage
Yes, it does seem to reflect a rather current state of affairs. Lets hope modern man has enough courage to stand up to the "same" elite ruling class and gain back their rights to pursue happiness and freedom. The difference ? we now spell dictator as, Inc.

good entertainment
Hmm. Everything seemed so familiar. I wasn't alive during the French revolution but I know about it (for those who understand).
Good acting, a good script and, though dark, good cinematography.

I liked this one very much. It felt like the last few years with the Mob in charge run by a Robespierre and the revolution devoured itself. It's one thing to watch and another to live through it.
Cummings and Basehart are very good. Overall the film was engaging and fast moving. Worth a download.
