A quick way to learn Arabic
Assalaamu alaikom,
For English speakers, learn Arabic for free through a series of audio lessons.
You can down load the mp3 files to your mobile and repeat after the speaker. The speaker says short phrases in English and gives few seconds to guess the Arabic and then says it in Arabic. The audio uses the same Arabic book here with additions and different ways of saying it. Try it for yourself, I hope you find it helpful.

Learning Arabic
I have found this to be one of the best books/CD to study Arabic.
It is just as good as the Medina book written by Abdur Rahmen if not better. I generally taught the Medina books but will be starting with these books now.
I have gone through the first half of it in 3/4 days on line. The books can actually be bought from Riyadh - Saudi Arabia but as I did not go through the CD at the time I did not buy then then. There is a very good Arabic to Arabic dictionary with the 3 books.
These are much better than the Arabic learning books with english description .
I would not start he if you do not know some basic reading.
I would recommend
Gateway to Arabic books (for children) (OR)
Along with the Medina books - simply because it has English references.
But this needs to be either studied with a teacher or with some basic Arabic skills.
