The site of Red Rocks Amphitheatre was founded by John Brisben Walker in 1906. Current layout
was designed by architect Burnham Hoyt and constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
Formal dedication of the amphitheatre was on June 15, 1941.

The Peggy-O will bring a tear to your eye.
The strings, piano, and pedal steel underlying the vocals and the alternating solos b/t Leisz and Chimenti is as beautiful as music gets.
Some other nice high-points in this one. Really enjoying Bob's stories, in these shows, too.
