Great crap!
The Boogiemonster does it again. I have recently "discovered" Ron and his Crap from the Past, and have been listening daily for about eight hours a day. This is my first review of one of his shows - the second I've listened to today.
This is the second part to "Re-recordings," which appeared earlier in the summer of 2002. This episode shifts its concentration from "cheesy re-recordings" to a more narrow "songs re-recorded for larger labels later on." The array of things Ron digs up are great - paralleling many songs I might have played if faced with creating this type of tracklist ("Disco Song" vs. "Once I Had a Love" vs. "Heart of Glass," "Vacation," etc.). The Boogiemonster offers some excellent commentary, and when combined with his song selection, this show truly is a standout in the "Crap" archives!
