Subject: Excellent source in orginal language
Subject: Excellent source in orginal language
Original source (c. 150 CE) in 1843 edition (excellent condition),
thanks, for this publication in original language (Ancient greek). Indeed of value as Geōgraphikḕ Hyphḗgēsis is mostly distributed in Roman/English versions. Very valuable for us in Scandinavia, as Ptolemy is only the second source (after Tacitus 98 CE) that mentions Φίννοι Phinnoi/Fenni which can be considered to relate to the Sámi - the indigenous people of Fennoscandia.
Thanks again.
