Summary:
"La otra Alemania" (The other Germany) was an anti-Nazi publication. August Siemsen, a co-founder of the Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei Deutschlands and German exile, first began publishing "Das Andere Deutschland" in 1938. Each issue provided a forum to fight against Nazism in Germany and the spread of National Socialism in Latin America. Later issues included articles on National Socialism in Austria by DAD's editor of Austrian content, Ernst Lakenbacher, another exile. The circulation of DAD later lead to the founding of similar organizations in many other Latin American countries. A separate publication of DAD was founded in Montevideo, Uruguay from the end of 1943 until early 1944 while the DAD was banned in Buenos Aires.
