Subject: first biscuits show
There's a gap in the build up jam >RLH. It goes from quieter part of the build up jam and drops you right into the "run, run" part. I guess it's the same copy as my original cdr's of this show.
This was my first biscuits show. I remember really loving the first set and sort of getting tired by the end of the second. Hahaha, not quite ready to rage my face off yet. After going full blown biscotti I went back for a relisten and found the show to be pretty solid.
The venue burned down. Not that night though.

I can't remember much about the playing but the venue was so incredibly crowded and hot that I almost passed out and had to leave. No reentry but I was happy to get out of there. They wouldn't even open a door to let air in.
Funny story that I always tell about this show: As we were walking away, I looked back at the glass door we left out of and there were people pressed up against it, looking out at me like they were trapped and needed help. Like zombies looking to escape but couldn't get out. My last time at this venue (saw Meatloaf and Warren Zevon here previously) and it burnt down a few years later.
My one and only Disco Biscuits experience wasn't very fun.

I was at this show. Strange place...I think the owners of the place were shocked at the crowd size. Kind of an old barn with ticket windows that reminded you of an old state fair square dance hall...or something like that. Budweiser advertised with gusto. Good show...lots of energy...I remember that everyone sweat themselves into little puddles. I'm not suprised they never went back to this venue. With the Higher Ground the night before and the Webster the next night this place was a weird choice in between. Sound quality is good considering the venue's sound was fair at best. A little heavy on the mid range.
