Subject: Jamless 42, and yet I'll still give it 5 stars.

Sound is good.
Jigsaw - The "chase" jam here is pretty good. Some neat lines from Barber, and Magner is doing some really cool textural layering. The snare/hi-hat work by Sammy is phenomenal here.
Morph Dusseldorf - The jam starts out very spacey sounding, and it works out really really well. This jam is fantastic. I love it. I really love it. They do a FANTASTIC job of building this jam up. This is one of the best Morphs ever. Of all time!
World is Spinning - Jamless.
Buddha > Sound 1 > Buddha - The Buddha jam is very good. Magner has the angel choir in full force, and they're doing some real locomotive jamming. Barber switches from minor to major at the perfect time, and the rest of the band follows suit. Sound One jam is also phenomenal. This whole segment is quite good.
Mitts > Basis - Wait, did this just happen? A jammed out Kitchen Mitts? And it was actually really good and let to a pretty decent Basis peak? The world is not making any sense.
42 - Ugh. Jamless 42. Enough said.
Story - Normally I'm pretty bored by Story jams, but this one is really, really good. The theme they get into at 8:38 is very very good. They manage to turn this into several well-thought out themes that each work well, and the peak is built well. Unfortunately Barber drops into the ending of the song too early and catches everybody else offguard, but I don't even care because of the 14 minute jam that came before it.
This show gets 5 stars even with jamless versions of WiS and 42. All the songs with jams are top notch.

This was my first Biscuits show as well. I had a blast. Went to see Old and In the Gray but was surprised to see DB. Had a good time, enjoyed the show, and it sounds great on cd.
