Sound here is very bass heavy. 2/5.
MEMPHIS > Sound 1 > Munchkin - Really enjoy this MEMPHIS first jam. Typical BarberrockGod MEMPHIS 1st jam, but quite pleasing. 2nd jam has a chilled out trip-hop vibe to it with some cool drumwork from Sammy. Really really enjoy the jam in Sound 1. Very dancy, catchy. Barber and Magner are communicating very well here and Sammy knows his role in this jam perfectly. Very well done, and pretty solid all the way till Munchkin. Munchkin's jam has a REALLY pretty melody by Magner, but they don't really take it anywhere for quite a while. Near the end they start finally progressing somewhere with it, and it's really cool, but for the first 5-6 minutes they don't really do much with it. Overall I enjoy the jam but they take far too much time getting to the good part.
Mulberry's and Crystal Ball are both standard.
Shelby - Incredibly boring jam. Never goes anywhere at all and seems to last forever. The peak is actually fantastic, and Barber does a great job here. Proof that even terrible Shelby Roses are still glorious when they get to the ending.
Shimmy - What a cool jam. Dark, sinister, middle eastern. Yes!
Jigsaw - A lot of Jigsaw jams never really go anywhere for me. The first jam goes nowhere at all, the second is decent but certainly not very memorable.
Triumph > Basis - Love this pairing. The jam out of Triumph starts out really cool Magner is playing a really strange patch that I really like a lot. Some pretty creepy stuff here from the Biscuits. I love it. The 2nd jam in Triumph is really cool as well. They get into some major key stuff about 7 minutes from the end of the mp3, and it's really pretty ethereal stuff for a little bit. After the ethereal stuff, it gets very very happy. VERY happy. Basis jam is pretty solid. Some really cool stuff from Magner and Barber throughout. There's a bit of a Ladies peak tease/fakeout for a bit.
Tunnel - Meh. The jam doesn't really seem to go anywhere too far from the song itself, but it's pleasant sounding.
Three stars. Average show with sub-par sound. Get this for the MEMPHIS > Sound 1 > Munchkin, the Shimmy, and the Triumph > Basis. The rest is all filler.
