It's a shame there's no AUD of this. The jams are amazing, but the hardly better than average WOS board (complete with noise-cancelling mics that also cancel musicality pretty effectively, plus with drums buried in the mix) makes them less listenable. Thank the gods we have the Jai Alai Fronton recordings, or we'd never know how good '74 must've been if you were in the audience.

This was my first show. About eight of us pilled into vans and drove over from Birmingham. The first set was rather short as the band had some technical difficulties with the Wall of Sound, but these were resolved and the second set actually opened with Jack Straw. The entire night was magical, but the final One More Saturday Night blew the doors down. A truly great show. Maria Muldar opened with a great band of her own and played a fabulous Midnight at the Oasis. There is, however, a missing Sugar Magnolia from the soundboard recordings, and with all of the people who record these concerts, someone out there must be sitting on it - something like sitting on a basement full of dynamite and live artillery. As I recall, it was played just after China Doll and just before One More Saturday night. Now, I had written a much more extensive review of this concert a few months back, but someone out there took it upon themselves to completely rewrite my review in such as way as to render it completely false and meaningless. As you can imagine, I'm not too happy about that, but at least I've set the record straight.
