Subject: Jerry Garcia and Friends
Subject: Fennario
Crazy Fingers never easy to land for Garcia but so much cool imagery plus a good space for Jerry to jam out.
Peggy-O is mellow!(The Vibe flows from here)
Help > Slip (just a brief second where I am feeling a Dark Star-how cool would that be
Help>Slip>Dark Star!)
Also really like the Franklin's.(good jam)
Not meaning to short change Bob's contribution to these sets but if ever there is a Jerry centered year 1975 is it.(and most years after)
To be fair to Weir there are not many musicians who could go one for one with Garcia on a nightly basis. (Pigpen has departed and Phil has stopped singing leads)
Wonder why the 2nd set is so short time wise?
but the whole Blues for Allah got pretty intense.
Superb recording-it really makes a difference.
Sometimes Blues For Allah reminds me of the movie 'Spinal Tap' just in the intro but the jams are not for the faint of heart.
