Long May you run, listen to the interview or the before show pre-party on youtube and then dig this show! out of sight
If you ever have time to listen to youtube there is a thirty inute long "interview between Jerry and about ten other CocaCola Heads that say it is an interview but basically was just some cats that got backgstge with a tape recorder and a good amount of righteous blow, which you can hear them snorting every thity seconds like it's right next to the recorder and this is right before this show and jerry is tuning hihs guitar, they had not played Casey jones in some time and the fact that he was wired to the gills before he went out there (trust me listen to the tape) it is amazing that he has such a beautiful voice and pulls off the show flawlessly, right on Jerry, just wish you could have learned a little moderation and you might still be with us but everything happens for a reason. rest in peace papa bear.

Excellent Transfer of an Excellent Show
This is one of my favorite '77 shows and, depending on the day, my favorite Scarlet>Fire. Jerry's solos in Fire are face-meltingly good. Thank you, Mr. Miller, for cranking this one to eleven.

First Dupree's in quite a while!
Haven't heard them do Dupree's Diamond Blues since, what, '69? Nice to bring back this fun bouncy tune.
