Notes
Mastering Notes
-- Crossfaded numerous tape pauses. The tape was paused during most of the song breaks in Set 1, and for a few in Set 2.
-- s2t06 - Tape flip during "Drums" crossfaded.
Notes
-- This is a beautiful recording with wonderful separation of the instruments.

Subject: I didn't know Bob Menke well, yet I had met him later on at the S.F. Civic, indeed he name was well know for his great reputation for recording, I also recorded this show myself but ...!
Nevertheless, since a soundboard came out I eventually taped over it with the board!
I too liked the "Stella Blue", but I liked others versions better for example, the one I recorded at Winterland '78, (mine doesn't cut like the board), Denver McNichol's, (since it rained at Red Rocks), this year or San Francisco Orpheum '76.
I vote this as one of the best "Shakedown Street"->"Bertha" with the revolving accent on a chosen beat! The whole show is fairly good just like the San Diego shows before it.
