Tough to get into in more ways than one. The source is OK-listenable. The show exemplifies what I really dislike about many '83 shows: they often played a lot of stuff faster than they really had the skills to...faster, in some cases, than would have sounded good no matter how tight the band was. Eyes, in particular, is often butchered in this way in '83, and in the case of this show Estimated is trashed right along with it. I absolutely hate it when they did stuff like that.
I do think it's hilarious when hardline Garcia-is-God deadheads like the guy who pathologized my review try to tell other people how they should review a show. I don't listen to music to worship the players. The players are there for me, bonehead, not the other way around. I can say whatever the hell I want and you can go stick your head in the vat of acid you lost your brain in and see if you can find it.

Hello?? Mc Fly? Anyone home? They're playing to fast for their skill? Jerry Garcia? The dead? Are you sure you weren't trying to review Captain and Tenile? You're obviously clueless about the dead. Check out the other copies with every review 5 stars I guess everyone's gone mad.

These shows were very tough to get into. Had to put together stubs that were thrown out the door in a cig pack. There wee many of us hanging out in the parking Garage attached to the Theater. I was really lucky to even get into these shows. Yes great place to see the band.
This sounds pretty good to me having waited all these years to find a good enough aud tape of this one. I love the wheel other ones so this is a keeper to me. Thank you for you work getting this up here.
