This is a fantastic sounding seed of a great show. It's got that characteristic wood-y sound of Merriweather. And the show is awesome!

God I loved MPP!!! Great venue, you could camp in the lot, a mall nearby for food and essentials, and oh yeah, The Dead rocked it. This show was the last time I dosed. I clearly remember during H>S>F that the music was pouring out of the speakers like water and I was a fish swimming upstream through the sound. Awesome night. Eventually the town of Columbia, MD. banned the circus due to fear of a deadhead takeover of town. Like that would be a bad thing!!

I haven't had a chance to burn this on to disc and listen to it in my truck yet, but listening to it here on the archive is a pleasure. A nice balanced recording with all the instruments discernable as well as voices. Sounds pretty clean too.
Oh, excellent show as well!
