Subject: Best sounding source for this show
Subject: Hunkered Down
A really twisted 2nd set with some of the nicest playing you could ever hope for. It was always best when the crowd was mellow and they snuck in under the wire and grabbed the base of your skull.
This is the best and fullest of the Aud. recordings I have found. I think it is the same one I had on tape for many years. The others have issues with the mix or fullness. Not terrible just not as nice as this one. I swapped D'Amico D/S in to this to make sure I did not miss anything. Works for me.
5* b/c 2nd set is stellar and the quality of recording nice. 1st set never a make or break for me.
Always wondered what the effect of all that electric pee was on trees. I imagine they were grateful being stuck in the middle of Richmond and all. 5 of us packed into a battleship grey 2 door Corolla for the long drive down 64 after the show. Looking for gas on 'E' in the middle of the night W. of Richmond - Desolation Row. I think our captain ended up in the Navy. Jeff?????
