Subject: I remember this show
I was inspired to look this one up, after being inspired by the wonderful- 'Stella Blue Thread...' This 'Stella Blue' is a bit different, Jerry played some very cool " runs" with a bit of a different guitar tone happenin. also , I love the quiet clean vocal and the back ups, oh yes I was up front and swooning, all night, every song, for this one ... I remember coming " home " - just for this show....
Also -another fave is : "The Midnight Hour" Encore , with Bobby and Brent ! going wild...
its a good one, I swear - musically I remember this show like it was last week, yet I cant remember some of the shows I was at 2 months ago ...but dont you agree, Jerry, Bobby, Brents vocals are a bit different ? maybe the mix ?
wasnt it snowing too ? I stayed downtown, and I remember going home in the am, and I walked into my parents house (Fpt) and there were all these hippie friends that I hadnt seen in years sleeping in the family room, I drove home from Boston for this and hadn't checked in at home, til' morning after the show ! and.... uh I heard about it too...lol I also remember Phil having a Ginormous rig, 6 or 8 amps? I'd love to find my old KODAK camera photos !....
oo
an old friend worked this show backstage, I'll check with him, this is worth 'Blogism s' how about that tempo on ' Deal' ?
and 'Touch Of Grey' 2 years before it charted on the Billboards charts and went Gold. and 5-10, at that energy level would exhaust any of us now, Rock and Freaking roll, and Furthur is still doing this
lol
