touch of grey- had some hairy gonads in 85
The first set builds to a Monster DEAL
Set two smoking hot Touch * > Samson
* =Touch of Grey-with a few rare exceptions became a different animal like a top 10 MTV pop tune after the boys commercial success.
HIGH TIME was a beast in the 2nd set during this tour.
Let it Grow in the 2nd set really is OLD School and well played , very passionate. I love the way you can feel the drummers increasing the intensity level something you don't really get when Let it Grow is the 1st set closer.
I think Garcia is playing one of the drums?
Good Space intro to Gimme Some Lovin'
Phil singing..Brent slashing
Graceful Stella Blue
(Don't touch any dials on Garcia's vocals)
Stones>N.F.A (dated-- but not at the time of this show)
E) Midnight Hour =Quality encore selection
NOT a perfect 5 but another unique 85 fall show

Tiny dancer?
Listen close after Dire Wolf as they decide what to do next I think it's Billy who suggests " lets do Tons of steal... then says Tiny dancer to which Bob says maybe later in the set.. Now that is fun to hear. Although never played by the boys it's their collective imagination that is so cool to me. Imagine them doing Tiny Dancer?

We could have us a HIGH TIME..
I love 85' shows! And in the fall of 85' just like the fall of 89' it all came together so nice. This show is a classic example of everything merging right..the band, the venue, the sound and mix and lets not forget the fans..BAM!! Tight from start to finish..Listen how Jerry barks out the Loser..I'll throw this High Time in with Saratoga and Richmond as my favorites of the year..gives me chills..SO YES, GIVE
IT A WHIRL!!

Smokin' Hot Show!!!
Smaller venue, General Admission, the Boys in good spirits; all the ingredients needed for a great show, and it was. From the first note of Dancin', right thru Midnight Hour, the energy between the band and the audience was just crackling. High Time was one for the ages. Even Samson was high speed , low drag. My buddies and I walked out into the cold Rochester air dripping in sweat. The best part was knowing we'd be back the next night (which was also a fantastic show)!!! Once again, the legendary CM has given us an outstanding copy of this blistering show.

Check this one out.........
...this is one scorchin' night in Rochester. Thanks for the re-master, Mr. Charlie and thanks for the clue-in, in regards to how good this show is, Emily Post!! FAT, FUN first set action. The High Times is one of the greatest I have ever heard (REALLY!--not just saying it to be saying it)...Let It Grow before drums--Old School!!!!! The whole show rocks and has that intense East Coast rocket fuel feel to it. Fine example of the magic that was 1985!
