Mr. Charlie showed me so
1985-11-22 - Friday, third of a three-shows in three-nights, Kaiser roll.

[ - Cassidy> Dupree's - 2nd of 2 (other 6-15-85); - Dupree's> Let It Grow - only]
- Touch> Estimated> Eyes> Drumz> Morning Dew> Throwing Stones> Lovelight - only
[ - Touch> Estimated - 2nd of 4; - Touch> Estimated> Eyes - 2nd of 3; - Morning Dew> Throwing Stones> Lovelight - 2nd of 3]
his bliss shit has a sound so exquisitely bright and clean it feels like Healy could heal me with his transitive night, wall of light that shines so loud and clear through what drives you stone mad.
...Listen to the thunder shout: I am, I am, I am...I'm mad!
Mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore: life without the constant threat of Dead (thread of Dead).
For here is another first set for the ages that rages against the sandstorms of father time that stand in our way to rise above (and reach for seconds).
Estimated > Eyesight to the blond (and the redhead and you're so well read, you wish).
Captain Trips rips right on through this night (and this life).
"Gonna listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock my soul."

yet again
Not to blather on, but it was a long weekend - this night was one of those where your punchiness makes everything seem disproportionately significant - after two great nights, the boys were challenged to top where they - we - had already been - and not to disappoint, they were in fine form - I often think that the quality of this particular recording is the best of this run, so if your choosing just one, and a SB purist like me, then listen close - but being there all weekend convinced me that they were close to out of steam (not there, just close) - and things were going a bit quick... At any rate, I love this show - especially the jam (as aforementioned) during Estimated where Healy plays with Bob's vocal and you pretty much launch into Neverland for a second - this is a trademark, if you will, of this tour, but perfected at this moment, and not to be repeated... And OK, the DEW - Well, listen for yourself, and tell me that Fall of 85 was not as magical in it's own right as any other era in the history of this band...

Wow. Just superb!
I've always liked this show and, attendance bias aside, it's one of my favorites from 1985. Big fat and juicy. Thanks to Charlie Miller for making it just exactly perfect.
Easily four skulls. Check out Space with headphones.
