My 1st Show!
I was a senior in high school, and my boyfriend introduced me to the Dead. He took me to my 1st show, which was also the 1st time I took mushrooms. It came on strong during the opener, and my legs wouldn't work walking up the stairs to our seats. My boyfriend carried me back out to the hallway and set me down. Everything was yellow, like looking through a balloon. A beautiful girl came over and gave me love and words of encouragement. She told me I needed to dance. After a few minutes we went back in and I danced my heart away. I became a true Dead Head that night.

Brent holding the spotlight..
It was something watching him catch fire
just wish he hadn't crashed and burned.
He truly was the future leader of the band.
AND yes that is one Dan Healy
melting tripping HEADS during the Other One

First Show!!!1!!
The NFA had me so confused. I wish I could remember what I THOUGHT the crowd was singing - I went around singing it that way for hours, maybe days. I remember thinking it was some kind of a contest between sections of the Forum.
What a night!

Smokin' Other One
Thrilling version, love Brent in this one and the guys just go off while being pretty technically sound (in a good way). Awesome late 80's show, these Forum shows were so solid and fun to be at. Great recordings of all 3 here on Archive.

Looks Like The Other One
Yes, TOO is brutal, as mentioned, but also check out the exceptional LLR, with a *smoking* middle jam. They absolutely nail it.

Pair-o-Dice waits
After a lackluster 1988..the band tears it up on the road in 89' Nothing really special about the show..but..what you hear is tight solid playing with energy..sound quality is very nice! Charlie you are the man! And have the ear and know how to produce quality from various sources..Give this one a whirl

Grate show. Grate remaster by Charlie. I'm always dumbfounded when I'm the first to review a Miller remaster.
