Subject: Best show of tour IMO
Subject: Best show of tour IMO
The band was running on all cylinders this night. Shakedown is verrrry nice. Only one of tour. BEW, Deal, Scarlet-Fire are all stellar versions. And what a venue! Weir passed me jogging in that big park there(don't remember name) with an entourage surrounding him.

Subject: Berlin Bound...
Ah! Berlin, enfin!
After the long ride from Essen (the 17th) we arrive to berlin, happy to be alive after driving on the (old) East Germany highways...so dangerous.
The weather was just so cold, and finally we find the ICC.
My first impression was: ICC looks like the Star Treck Spaceship. This weekend proves it was a kinda.
Spend the day before in the streets of Berlin, with a lot of heads everywhere.
The parking lot was wild, and i remember that East Germany family with children in thighly hands. They where looking at us as ET. So we was.
The Scalper with his briefcase full of tickets, certainly regrets for a long time to be here.
A circle of Solid Heads surrounded him and the briefcase fly and a rain of tickets fall under us. Miracle act!
Later, i hear "hey Eric!" and it was my friend Moshe. Didn't see him from 1 or 2 years.
The ICC was one of the most confortable place i have seen. With carpet everywhere, big confortable seats with shelf...for skinning.
The sound was the most unique i heard on Dead Show. Lot of medium, and the equal was a bit strange. The sound architecture between drums, guitars and keybords was very deep and close in the same time(thanx Dan).
Music on the 19 was...just perfect but it was like everybody seems to know that a Dark Star was in the air. T'will be for the 20th.
Berlin is definitively a great moment of my life.
And after those shows we where again on the road to the next...
