Good, but not great Nassau throwdown
GDTS seated me in the 300s behind the stage, and sound quality was not very good in that location. Still, I remember it to be a pretty good show. Listening to it after all these years, the first thing I notice is that Vince's timing is way off in places. The Scarlet jam in particular is marred by his cheesy synthesizer tone that's way in front and often off the beat. The Reuben & Cherise bust-out was nice, but again the coda suffers from too much keyboard, at least in this SBD. I'm not sure whether Vince or Braelove was responsible for the horrible patches used by the synthesizer, but it sure made me miss Brent.
In particular, the Minglewood is hot, and the transition from Space into Watchtower brilliant (for the era).
