Subject: My last show...
Subject: My last show...
this was my last show... A friend of mine called me and said there was going to be a last minute show anounced in Highgate VT. I think the tickets went on sale maybe two weeks before the show and only at ticketmaster (no mail order for this one). The people at the ticketmaster location actually had to call the main office because they kept telling me there was no show, but I insisted there was. After about an hour, they figured it out and I got my ticket.
Although I've only gone to about 20 shows, I thought this show was great. Not so much for the music, but the crowd. It had to be the most mellow East coast crowd I've ever seen since I started going to shows in the 80's. (more heads than 'tourists' at this one I think). I'm very happy I can hear this show again, thanks archive.org.

an ok opener with Goot Times....but they lit it up with the next four tunes...Jack Straw,Althea,Queen Jane, and Loser.nothing much for highlights in the 2nd set except for a sweet New Speedway and i can`t forget to mention this moment during my first time hearing Standing on the Moon...i`m sure i`m not the only one with this experience...but Jerry was looking at me.no shit, when he says"i`d rather be with you,"his eyes were in my direction, enough to have the waterworks come out..lol,it was beautiful moment and a beautiful show as well!...we miss and love you Jerry, always and forever.

Except for a slight tinniness, this could just about about pass for a board. Putting it on my "Must Have AUDs" spreadsheet. :-)
