Mild Continuous Noise filter to reduce tape hiss.
Equalized to cut bottom slightly and boost mid highs.
Patched 2 sec dropout in Bertha with the AUD source. Also redid the Playin'>
Terrapin AUD patch. Some tune ups patched from AUD for completeness and the
patch in OMSN redone. AUD patches adjusted to match sbd as best as possible.
All editing done with Diamond Cut DC6 software.

thanks!
yes there are long tune-ups and 'dead air'
so glad my hearing can skip over it-
I bet the GD would also have liked
to have skip over it.
and get to the music part.

pretty sure that is so you can skip to the next tune if so inclined.
Oh yeah the jam out from NFA is so spacey + mellow!

why would you?
Why would anyone break the show up into so many "tune ups" and "tune out"s...... WHY??
Someone please explain the benefit of doing this....The music is of course incendiary. As good as music of any kind ever needs to be. No rating because I do not understand why the transfer was done this way....WHY??

If I Had My Way
I was sitting pretty high up at this one, and Tennessee Jed had such a powerful upward surge that the phrase 'blow the roof off' seemed apt. A few weeks later, the Civic Center had to close for a while, due to structural damage to the roof!

oh yeah! 77'
I believe 77 is the FINEST vintage Dead . . .Without Pigpen, that is. May of 77 may be the highest peak the boys ever reached . . even Donna is on the ball. They were really cookin' that night. And on my effin birthday? . . .What a rad site this is!

Sugaree
Thanks for the tip, fremontbob.
That is one for the books. Jerry explores every inch of the space without once stepping out of the box. The lazy blues pace of the last movement is particularly fine.
I'm also keen on the Row Jimmy which trudges across the tundra like an Imperial Walker on its way back to the moisture farm for another injection of Dantooine yam-yam.

Excellent
This show is right in sync with all of May 77. Sound quality is pretty good, and the beats are outstanding.
