A good one, though a slightly 2-dimensional recording...cool thing is there's way more bass for the Drumz than you usually get in a SBD.

Circa 1987 chances are its a patch from Healy's UltraMix. Think he ran variations of 70/30 to 50/50..
Most SBD patches from this era will sound like a matrix, because they basically are.

...searchin for the sound.....-Cortez
I have 3 different cassette recordings of this show and depending on location of the recording this show gets mixed reviews. Most noteably is the difference in the DAT and the SBD versions. The "Playin" I am used to has alot more audience pleas for a "..Playin Bob! Playin!!" before Bobby surrenders, as well as amazing Phil bombs at the end jam. I also miss the audience reaction to the first notes into "Watchtower" and this one of kind happy euphoric scream of appreciation from what was probably one beautiful "sun godess"! (lol)

Good question
It is definitely a nice clean sound with regard to Phil, Brent and Bobby, but a little light on Jerry's guitar. You definitely hear the audience, though.

Doesn't sound like a SBD to me
Am I going crazy?
After listening to the first set, perhaps it's an AUD patch to start the show?
I'm confused..is this a Matrix recording?
